Company
From Then Til Now
Freightlinx began from very humble beginnings. A truck, a sideloader, a man, a laptop and you guessed it… a dog. Adam Hale who still remains as the Managing Director began the business and worked for 2 years on his own using the cab of his truck as his office. Building solid, personal client relationships, Freightlinx soon became known for its on time, transparent FCL transport service.
Quickly it outgrew the cab of Adams truck and we established a yard based in Tuggerah. The office was then a shipping container, Adam hired an Allocator and an Operations Manager to help him maintain the current growing Client list and continue the high standard of customer service that he had prided himself on.
In October of 2017, the business moved to a brand-new, custom-built premises in the Tuggerah Business Park. With an architecturally designed office including boardroom and staff facilities, Freightlinx now provides over 450 square meters of warehousing space and 8,000 square meters of yard for container storage/unloading/loading etc. The facility also allows the team to maintain to a high standard the growing fleet with a 180 square metre mechanic workshop and an eco-friendly wash bay.
Employees
Now almost 15 years on Freightlinx employees over 40 people including over 30 professional drivers, 8 office staff a full-time mechanic and 3 yardmen.
